Take Spirituality to the Next Level!

Young Adult (2).jpg

Designed for young adults ages 18-35, this coed retreat is for those who sense the Lord calling them to put out into the deep by conforming their lives and work ever more closely to him. This year, the theme of the retreat is the Holy Mass and how to understand our lives in light of it.

How does the great drama of Sunday relate to my life and work in the world? A series of retreat talks explores this theme, which takes its inspiration from the great twentieth-century saint, Alberto Hurtado SJ, who is especially remembered for founding homes for street children in his native Chile and who said: “The Mass is my life! My life is a prolonged Mass!” In periods of silent prayer between talks, retreatants will have the opportunity to meditate on how the Lord wishes to imprint on their own lives the same pattern of saving action that we experience in the Mass.

There will be opportunities for spiritual direction and Reconciliation throughout the weekend. Fr. Matthew Baugh, S.J., the associate pastor of College Church in St Louis, will be the presenter. Registration is open! Check-in is from 5:00pm to 7:00pm on Friday, January 3.  Departure is at approximately 1:00pm on Sunday following lunch on January 5. The cost to attend is $100 per person due at the time of registration.  Space is limited.
